What is a commission? 
A commission is a custom piece of art that I would create just for you.

Why a commission?
Maybe you like one of my pieces but need it in a different size to fit a specific wall in your home.
Maybe you want something unique to give as a gift.
Maybe you like one of my pieces but want it in different colors to go with your home decor.
Maybe you want a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork that is special and meaningful to you.

What kind of art can you make for me?
My specialty is Abstract Expressive (like my florals) or Non-Objective (non-representational) acrylic on canvas. I also do lettering/watercolor. Take a look around my website for examples, or follow me on Instagram @leah_creates.

How does it work?
Once you decide you would like a one-of-a kind art piece made by yours truly, you will fill out my Commission Inquiry Form here (or below) to start the process.

This will give me an initial idea of what you would like and I will reach out with follow-up questions to figure out further details like size, subject matter and the style you would like. Then I will take all of the specs into account and get back to you with a quote and estimated timeline. Once you accept the quote and sign the contract, a deposit will be due. During the process I will check-in with a progress update.

Once the piece is complete I will either ship it to you or deliver it to you in person (Denver metro area delivery possible depending on your location).

    If you are interested in a custom painting by me, please fill out the form below to get the process started and I will get back to you to go over the details and get you a quote.

    Once we have finalized the subject, size, and price, I will send you a commission agreement. The commission agreement will inform you of the agreed upon piece, the terms of the commission and explain the pricing. I will begin the work once the contract has been signed, returned and the deposit has been received.
