Sneak Peek of my Botanical Drawing Collection - co Sneak Peek of my Botanical Drawing Collection - coming tomorrow to my Etsy shop! New Prints, Notebooks and Greeting Cards in black and white and some beautiful muted colors…⠀ ⠀ I was super inspired by a @skillshare class I took by Lisa Glanz (@glanzgraphics) on botanical drawing and found myself sketching for hours and hours, so I turned it into an art collection. ⠀ ⠀ I sketched the flowers the old fashioned way first - in my sketchbook with pencil - then I traced and refined them in Procreate on my iPad. As you probably know, I love painting florals, so this was right up my alley to work on familiar subject matter, but in a new and fun way. Sometimes I just have no inspiration for new paint Sometimes I just have no inspiration for new paintings but the other day I got a spark of an idea and created these two small paintings. They are 10x10. I’m loving working with peachy pinks and teal contrasting with raw sienna. ⛰🌊What do you see?
