I’m trying to do #MarchMeetTheMaker challenge for March! Today’s prompt is “Story”. Share something about your story or why you started your business.⠀ Here goes: Art has always been a part of my life over the years. I was an art major in college but I never made art my main focus in life or career. I always pursued a so-called “real” full-time 9-5 job. But I found myself unemployed at the start of 2019 so I started pursuing my art more as a business since I had a lot of time on my hands, and it had always been something that I was passionate about….⠀ Fast forward to 2020 – I did get another “real” job but I’m still working on my art as my side hustle. I know I need it in my life because it is what fulfills me the most. I’m not sure where I will go with it, but right now I’m happy exploring and taking small steps every day…⠀ —⠀ Pictured: A Pop of Poppy I and A Pop of Poppy II – part of my latest series of paintings. Paintings and prints available. Link in Bio. ⠀ -⠀ What is your story? Why did you start your biz? Let me know in the comments! ⠀ -⠀ -⠀ -⠀ -⠀ #marchmeetthemaker #creativebiz #enneagram9 #justsupportsmall #indiebusiness #meetthemaker #behindthescenes #behindtheart #abstractacrylicpaintings #boulderartists #shoplocaldenver #mybeautifulmess #mystory #shopupanddothework #startbystarting #new_and_abstract ⠀ #discoveretsy #isitspringyet #etsysellerUS #etsyfinds #coloradoartists #artforinteriors #interiordesignart #abstractwallart #midcenturymodern #contemporary_art #coloradoart #artforyourhome #artismytherapy
